Job description
META Circularity, a strategic advisory on sustainable innovation and the circular economy seated in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is looking to integrate a new member into the core team in a key role in the position overseeing Academy and client development; focusing mainly on the market development, positioning, marketing and fulfilment of training, capacity building and advisory and tutoring in the area of sustainable innovation, business model development and circular transformations.

About this role
The main objectives of the position are to:
- Carry out a market launch META Circularity’s education, training and service platform CBA (www.cbaplatform.eu) and other capacity-building activities
- Engage and manage multiple clients (B2B and B2C) from different segments onto the platform: individual, startups, SMEs, corporate, and EU co-funded project consortia;
- In the long term, successfully position CBA, a professional capacity-building and service arm and further enhance its services with new features and functionalities through EU research and innovation consortia
The candidate, if selected, will:
- work directly with clients from startup, SME, large corporate and individual applicants;
- manage different segments and innovation partnerships,
- leading sales and market development of META Circularity’s CBA
- manage new initiatives in sustainable innovation and circularity
- organise a 3- to 6-month onboarding period before undertaking full responsibilities of the outlined position.
Any verifiable experience in the relevant fields comprising strategic communication, sales, professional associations, content- and event management, is an advantage but not a precondition. Prior experience in research and technology transfer or, innovation-driven early-stage ventures or corporate innovation management and corporate transformations is welcome.
Requirements for the job
- University degree; a master’s degree is an advantage
- Good working knowledge of English, both verbal and written is a requirement
- Working knowledge of Italian, Croatian, Slovenian or of another EU language is an advantage
- Standard IT skills are required, the ability to use web-development, collaboration and social media tools is a strong advantage
