is the founder of Giacomelli media, Ltd. He holds a MSc in Business Administration from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics (EF, IMB).

Before establishing Gm, Jurij earned significant top-management experience throughout his career in media and publishing industry s well as in several financial institutions and design management. He was the President of the Management Board of Delo, Slovenia’s leading media firm (2009-2012), and Managing Director of Finance, the publisher of Slovenia’s first business daily (1999-2006). He also served as financial director of the GV Group. Furthermore, he was Managing Director of Gorenje Design Studio (2007-2009), a Member of Management board at Prva Group, Slovenia’s the leading pension and personal insurance (2006-2007), and Chief Communications Officer and General Secretary of NLB Group (2013-2015) one of the leading banking groups in Central and South-Eastern Europe.

He currently serves as a Member of Honorary tri bunal of Managers’ Association of Slovenia. He is a former president of the Media Chamber, a part of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia and active in several other professional associations.

He is a senior lecturer at the International Master’s in Business (IMB) at the Faculty of Economics, Ljubljana, and a frequent speaker at international conferences.
